RedStar Software is a software development firm with a strong focus on Java and web technology. Founded in 2000, we are meanwhile participating in sophisticated projects of the European Space Agency and European Commission. We are looking for a Web Designer for the following tasks:

- Design of web sites for industry and commerce
- Maintenance of web sites
- Design of user interfaces for web based applications
- Development of style guides for user interface design
- Development of PHP / MySQL applications

We expect from you a good sense of style, high capabilities for design and art and a strong dedication to your work. You should have an academic degree or a comparable practical work experience. We further expect that you are an experienced user of the following software tools or similar products:

- Adobe Photoshop,
- CorelDRAW or other vectorial redactor,
- 3D Studio MAX or other 3D redactor (basic still from building schemas etc),
- Macromedia Flash MX

You should be experienced with the following technologies and operating systems:

- HTML / DHTML / CSS / JavaScript
- JSP
- ActionScript
- PHP
- MySQL / SQL

As we are working in international projects, you should be able to communicate in the following languages

- English (excellent reading and writing skills)
- German (not mandatory, but a big plus)
